Re: [FLASH-USERS] restarting from checkpoint files

A few weeks ago I followed the thread of discussion about the problem
mentioned in the subject, which I am experiencing too. Unfortunately, I can
not find in the archive of this userlist the final answer, so I am forced to
ask.
I am trying to restart a run from a given output file. The previous run was
interrupted either because nend was reached or by creating a .dump_restart
file (I mean: I get the same trouble in either way). I then modify the
flash.par file by putting restart=.true. and adding the following 2 lines:

cpnumber = 0029
ptnumber = 28

The new run goes for a while, but I can immediately see that something goes
wrong because the number of refined blocks starts decreasing, and then it
continues to decrease dramatically. The output files *chk* are fillled with
NaN (checked from h5dump).
I enclose the (abridged version of ) flash.log and flash.par files.

Many thanks in advance for any help.
