Hello,
I'm doing 3-D computations of self-gravitating disks with FLASH2.3. Some days
ago I got an interesting overdensity in my disk, but I was unable to add
resolution there, because I got following error:
p4_error: alloc_p4_msg: Message size exceeds P4s maximum message size:
536870912
I tried to change number of CPUs and turn off msgbuffer, but the error
persisted. It occured just after adding a new level of refinement, which
probably caused a major block shuffling. I don't know what other parameters
are important. I'm using nxb=16, nyb=16 and nzb=8, the code was compiled by
Portland compiler and runs on a cluster of dual Opterons, with 2GB RAM per
node.
So the question is: how to deal with such problem?
