I tried it. Probably I've reached system limits for that cluster. With root
priviledges one can play with sysctl and /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax, but going
into values of order of total amount of RAM available doesn't seem to be a
good idea.
Maybe there is some way to tell MPICH library to communicate using smaller
chunks of data? Or maybe some other MPI implementation handles this issue in
better way? I've never get deep into MPI and I have no idea what is possible
and what isn't.
